Research work on reusing accumulated waste and low-grade ore dumps in the Waste Management Unit at “Erdenet Mining Corporation” SOE, as well as conducting aerial remote sensing studies. Geodetic data valued at of 1.6 billion MNT has been prepared for “Erdenet Mining Corporation” SOE and 2D and 3D models of the Waste Management area have been developed.

Research Grant Project: Improving rock mass characterization at Oyu Tolgoi using high-precision strength measurement with Minpraxis testing equipment. A 1-ton sample consisting of 22 core boxes (67 meters in length) from Oyu Tolgoi ore was prepared. Geological and geotechnical logging were completed, followed by laboratory testing including UCS, PLT, TT, and Minpraxis tests.
