Erdenet Institute of Technology (EIT) was established in 1975 as a “Training Center” to
train experts and miners. Through 50 years of our history, EIT has made a significant
contribution to the development of the Erdenet Mining Company, to the city of Erdenet, and to
our country by training more than 8000 skilled workers, 462 technicians, and about 2100
graduates from diploma and bachelor’s degree programs
We, the staff of Erdenet Institute of Technology, named after Sh.Otgonbileg, are proud to be the only local educational institution that has been independently accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Education three times and has been certified to introduce the Quality Management System MNS ISO 9001:2016 and MNS ISO 21000:2021.
In order to provide QUALITY educational services to anyone who wants to become an engineer or a technician, we have joined the CDIO initiative for engineering education and also developed result-based training programs. Because we are fully confident in the quality of our educational services, we are the only school that awards employment certificates to every student with a GPA of 3.4 or higher to work in “Erdenet Mining Corporation” SEO.

OUR HISTORY
Our school has played a historic role in Mongolian Mining sector with training, retraining, and dual training of engineers and experts not only for Erdenet Mining Corporation, but also other large mining companies.
We provide research, design, and semi-industrial experimental work to produce highly trained specialists and professionals in the mining field, improve their skills, improve equipment and technology of the domestic mining industry and Erdenet Mining Corporation. For this, our school operates as an “Education + Research + Production” complex.
